While there are many medications available today to treat the various types of anxiety disorders many patients suffering from these disorders do not wish to take them. For these people, anxiety herbs are an easy and safe alternative to such medications.

Two other common aromatherapy herbs are jasmine and lavender, both of which are good for balancing the emotions and relieving stress and fear.

Because of such a wide variety of natural remedies available, many people suffering from anxiety can rely on anxiety herbs to help alleviate and treat the symptoms of their disorders. This is a welcome alternative for those patients who do not wish to undergo medical treatment and take certain anti-anxiety medications whose long-lasting effects are not certain. Herbal remedies can come in the form of elixirs, tonics, supplements, and even aromatherapy however, it is always best to discuss such treatment with a doctor prior to engaging in such a regimen.
